Here's the question/answer you are looking for

Question of benjamin (09.10.2015): Hello! I would like to know if it was possible to trace the guns of the age of pirates
A: There are still guns dating back 300 years in museums.
If you search for guns in wreckage on the seabeds, there will remain nothing because the salinity of the sea and bacteria eat away any form of old metal, and wood even faster. We can find wooden arms in hand in better condition in the Baltic Sea of which the salinity is insignificant compared to other seas and oceans.

There are still many treasures known in the Caribbean islands that have not been found. We could probably find guns there.
