Here's the question/answer you are looking for

Question of anonymous (11.05.2015): Who is Long John Silver?
Long John SilverA: Long John Silver is the brainchild of Robert Louis Stevenson's novel Treasure Island.

Long John Silver is a very clever Irish pirate: cunning, manipulative, great storyteller, and the typical image of a blind pirate with a wooden leg and a parrot perched on his shoulder.

If you want to know much about this character, I suggest that you read Long John Silver by Björn Larsson. You'll know what happened to him at the end of the book Treasure Island and also his past!
