Question of Laralys (07.09.2015): Is there a special language of the pirates?
A: To my knowledge no history book refers to a specific language of the pirates.
However, they had codes that allowed them to communicate with each other remotely over sea between two boats. The Royal Navy also used the codes as a form of communicating to its distant fleet, but during fighting the smoke made them difficult to read.

But for fun in the 21st century there is the international day where we can talk like a pirate!
