Question of Rose (10.16.2015): Hello! I'd like to know when piracy started and approximately when it ended
A: Piracy would have started as soon as man embarked on the sea. It is assumed that it existed in the thirteenth and twelfth centuries BC in the eastern Mediterranean.
Unfortunately piracy has not ended. It continues today with organized pirates using speed boats and weapons repeatedly. Go and see this question / answer for pirates today.
